Michele Pocknee is a Project Manager for Oracle Labs Down Under working with the Parfait and Program Analysis teams in Brisbane, Australia. In her role, Michele assists with the day to day running of Oracle Labs Down Under and the Oracle Labs website.

Michele graduated with a BIT(Information Management) from the Queensland University of Technology in 1993. Her career has given her over 10 years experience as an Analyst with roles such as Systems Analyst for BHP Australia Coal, Data Analyst for the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) in Long Beach CA, Reports Analyst for Agilent Technologies in Santa Clara CA and Hutchison Telecoms in Brisbane.

In the last few years Michele has been raising a family and has set-up the first Spanish Playgroup in Queensland - Juguemos en Espanol - with grants from the Australian Playgroup Association.

Other interests include painting with watercolours and acrylics, hiking and bike riding.
