Summary

Cloud application security is critical to Oracle and its business. Towards this goal, Oracle Labs is partnering in deep research collaboration with the National University of Singapore in building strong competencies in software vulnerability detection and automated remediation. Lot of such core competencies involve use of Artificial Intelligence, specifically customised Large Language Model (LLM) Agents combining LLMs and program analysis. These solutions help remedy and protect applications. This joint research will help Oracle improve its cloud offerings. The next generation of OCI will not only be more secure, it will also have no service downtime as the necessary patches can be generated and applied automatically.
