Jason is a Director of Oracle Labs East and is responsible for a research portfolio that includes machine learning, AI, and systems. Jason manages a diverse team of scientists and engineers, most with advanced degrees. He is accountable for creating new technologies and solutions that push the boundaries of science while offering bottom-line business benefits to the company. Jason's team is principally based in Burlington, MA, though the extended team includes people working across the US.

Throughout his career, Jason has served in many different roles, from individual technical contributor to architect and manager, all involving the creation and commercialization of new technologies. His technical background and experience span many areas, including generative AI, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, software development, hardware development, and distributed systems. Jason has served in various leadership roles, including Principal Investigator for several large research efforts, Project Lead for multiple commercial products, and most recently, Director for Oracle Labs East.

Jason holds a BS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Rochester. He lives in Andover, Massachusetts, with his partner Alexandra and his two children.
