Jan Stola is a member of the Graal project. He focuses on the self-optimizing language execution framework (Truffle) and its language implementations, in particular JavaScript (Graal.js). Before joining Oracle Labs in Oct 2015, Jan worked on various parts of NetBeans IDE, mainly on support of web-related technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.) and on GUI builder (Matisse). He received a PhD degree from Charles University, Prague.
