Alexander Jordan is a Principal Researcher at Oracle Labs. Among other things he has been working on Node.js vulnerability detection as part of the Affogato project and novel solutions related to Software Composition Analysis as part of the Open Source Intelligence project (OSINT).

He received his PhD in Computer Science from the Vienna University of Technology in 2014, where he was advised by Andreas Krall and graduated with distinction. Alexander was a researcher at the Technical University of Denmark and ENSTA ParisTech in France. Back in Austria he has also worked as an embedded software engineer.

His research interests include code generation techniques, program analysis and optimization.
