Saeid Allahdadian
Saeid is a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle labs using his machine learning skills in the Keybridge security and fault detection project. He works on creating and using state-of-the-art Machine Learning NLP techniques for anomaly detection in securing Clouds and for detecting faults in their hardware systems, based on machine-human generated logs. He has made more than 10 patents and publications on his research project. Prior to his current position, Saeid was working as a machine learning research scientist in a quantum computation company and as a PostDoc in Computer Science Department of UBC, researching on fundamental theories of learning in neural nets, large-scale stochastic optimization for machine learning and recurrent neural nets for signals from systems. His research on using artificial intelligence and social media for optimizing the public transportation was featured in several news agencies including Metro and Motherboard (Vice). During his 14 years of research experience, he delivered several research & development projects, received more than 12 honorary award, created more than 10 patents, and 20 publications in prestigious journals and conferences, which were presented in more than 6 countries spanning 3 continents.
