Zbyněk joined Oracle Labs team in February 2016 and started working on the FastR project. Then he moved to the Sulong team where he's been working on various LLVM interpreter features such as the ahead-of-time compilation, interoperability and the Aarch64 support. Currently, he is working on secure execution of native code.

Before joining OL his main interest was in the field of big data backend architectures and complex event processing. Besides, as the subject of his doctoral thesis, Zbynek developed the concept and implementation of object morphology, which is a novel object oriented paradigm for modeling highly mutable phenomena.
