Shaun Smith leads product management of Oracle Lab's GraalVM.  He previously lead product management of serverless technologies at Oracle and has successful brought three cloud services to market.  He's an experienced technical product manager, enterprise framework architect, and software developer active in open source being a past committer on a number of Eclipse Foundation projects notably EclipseLink, the Java Persistence API reference implementation.

He is an experienced speaker having presented on Java, Java EE, Serverless Functions, Cloud Native application development, and the Java Persistence API around the world at user groups and at over 60 developer conferences including JavaOne/CodeOne (US/India/Japan), Devoxx (BE/MA), JAX (US/UK/Germany/Asia), QCON (US/UK), EclipseCon (US/EU), Oracle Open World (US/Latin America/Japan), and the Great Indian Developer Summit.
