Ali joined Oracle Labs as an intern during his final year of his M.Sc. in computer science at UBC's Vancouver Campus in 2021. Ali now works full-time on the AutoMLx (Automated Machine Learning with Explainability) team. Ali's M.Sc. research focused on generating multivariate time series from a single source. He presented a new method called COSCI-GAN at the NeurIPS 2022 conference. Before his M.Sc., Ali earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology.
