Giacomo Fabris completed his MSc studies in Computer Science at ETH Zürich in 2022, and joined Oracle Labs right afterwards.

At Oracle Labs, Giacomo is part of the team working on Oracle Database Multilingual Engine (MLE). His main research focus is on improving query execution performance via speculative execution.

Giacomo's interests are in the field of algorithms & data structures, microarchitectural optimizations and information security.
