Summary

The project consists of the following major tasks: 1. Develop a provenance model that covers update operations, temporal content, and transactional operation - completed in phase 1. 2. Implement a prototype on top of Oracle as a proof of concept and for experimental evaluation - completed in phase 3. Extend the model to additional data models besides SQL such as RDF and XML and distributed environments 4. Support distributed environments 5. Support retroactive queries (previously executed as well as what if queries)
