Summary
Prof Peter Marwedel at TU Dortmund and his group have amassed considerable experience in compilation in general and the use and implementation of R in particular. They are part of the academic team, working with Purdue and Oracle, on implementing a high-performance R system on top of the infrastructure being developed by Project Alphabet Soup.
