Stefan Kaestle

Stefan Kaestle - Principal Member of Technical Staff

I am at Oracle Labs in Zurich working on PGX.D, the distributed backend of our fast, parallel, in-memory graph analytic framework.

Currently, I explore options for implementing fault-tolerance and elasticity in PGX.D.

My other interests lie in several layers of the software stack including the operating system, runtime system and parallel programming.

Before joining Oracle labs, I was completing my PhD with the Systems Group at ETH Zurich. In 2011, I was given the opportunity to do an internship with Tim Harris at Oracle Labs in Cambridge, UK.
