Stefan Kaestle - Senior Member of Technical Staff
I am at Oracle Labs in Zurich working on GPX, a fast, parallel, in-memory graph analytic framework.
My interests lie in several layers of the software stack including the operating system, runtime system and parallel programming. Currently, I focus on the performance of parallel programs by applying smart optimizations to memory allocation and synchronization primitives in the context of graph analytics.
Before joining Oracle labs, I was completing my PhD with the Systems Group at ETH Zurich. In 2011, I was given the opportunity to do an internship with Tim Harris at Oracle Labs in Cambridge, UK.
