Rebecca Odonoghue - Research Engineer
Rebecca is a Research Engineer at Oracle Labs Australia. She joined Oracle in 2016 as a participant in the CEED program in which she completed her honours thesis, Automation of Security-Related Mutation Generation and Test Suite Evaluation for Java.
At The University of Queensland, where she gained a Bachelor of Engineering (Software) (First-class honours) in 2017, Rebecca received a Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence three times.
She is currently working in the Wafer team on the Web-based Vulnerability Detection project, which applies cross-language static analysis to detect vulnerabilities in web applications.
Rebecca worked with other Oracle researchers to publish a position paper on the way mutation testing can be used to evaluate the quality of test suites from a security viewpoint.
